Inspired by the environment around her, Maki's jewelry often incorporates micro-plastics, shells and sea glass. Her adorable boutique in Kailua also features other sustainable and locally made items from across Hawaii.

I asked Alex to take a picture of jewelry that was upcycled with microplastics.  The pictures she takes are really amazing, as they show the product better with the nature of Hawaii.  I would like to ask her again! Mahalo!
